Kings Looking For First Win, Host Hornets
The Sacramento Kings play host to the Charlotte Hornets, at Golden 1 Center on Wednesday evening.

The Kings (0-4) have dropped four in a row to start the season, including two losses on the road and two at home. They are coming off a home loss against the Nuggets on Monday, where Richaun Holmes led the team with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Buddy Hield struggled in the loss, with just five points on 2-of-13 shooting from the field. De'Aaron Fox leads the Kings in points (16.2) and assists (6.0) assists per game. Richaun Holmes leads the team in rebounding (6.2) and blocks (1.2) per game. Buddy Hield has had a relatively quiet start to the season, averaging 14.3 points per game on 35 percent shooting. The Kings are giving up an average of 115 points per game, while scoring a league-low average of 95.5 points per game. This marks the second game of a three-game home stand and the third home game of the season for the Kings.

Meanwhile, this marks the third game of a four-game road trip for the Hornets (1-3), where they have gone 0-2 so far. After winning their first game of the season, the Hornets have dropped three in a row. Devonte' Graham has been the Hornets leading scorer so far, averaging 17.5 points in 29 minutes off the bench per game. Graham also leads the team in assists (7.2) per game. Despite missing the Hornets' second game, Cody Zeller has had a good start to the season, averaging a team best 13 rebounds per game, along with 16 points, 1.0 block and 1.0 steal per game. Terry Rozier has been managing his new role as starting point guard by averaging 13.5 points, 5.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game through his first four games.
