Wizards Host Rockets In Home Opener
The Houston Rockets play host to the Washington Wizards, at Toyota Center on Wednesday evening.

The Wizards (1-2) began their season on a three-game road trip, where they fell short in Dallas and San Antonio but came out of Oklahoma City with a win. This marks the home opener for the Wizards and the first of a three-game home stand. Bradley Beal leads the team with 20.3 points per game over the first three games. He also leads the team in assists (7.7) and steals (1.3) per game. Thomas Bryant leads the Wizards in rebounds (9.7) and blocks (1.7) per game. Rui Hachimura has looked great so far in his rookie campaign, as he has started all three games for the Wizards and is averaging 16.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists. Isaiah Thomas made his debut for the Wizards in their most recent contest and finished with 16 point, five rebounds and three assists, in 20 minutes off the bench. The Wizards have scored an average of 106.3 points and have given up an average of 105.7 points over their first three games.

Meanwhile, the Rockets (2-1) began their season with a three-game home stand, where they dropped the first one against the Bucks but won the next two in a row against the Pelicans and Thunder. This marks the Rockets' first road game of the season and also the beginning of a four-game road trip. The Rockets have averaged 117.6 points per game over their first three games, while they have allowed an average of 117.3 points against. James Harden and Russell Westbrook have looked good together in their two wins. Westbrook tallied a triple-double with 28 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds in the Rockets' first win, while Harden finished with 40 points in their win on Monday. The Rockets have not found their groove from long range, as they have shot an average of 28 percent from behind the arc so far this season.
