2024 Fantasy Outlook
Kraft was drafted 78th overall by the Packers in 2023, 36 picks after Luke Musgrave. Kraft spent most of the season behind Musgrave on the depth chart, but the tight end out of South Dakota State stepped up when Musgrave missed six games down the stretch due to a lacerated kidney, catching 23 of 30 targets for 281 yards and two touchdowns over that span. In 13 other games, including two playoff contests, Kraft had just 98 receiving yards and one touchdown. Both young tight ends are likely to play prominent roles in 2024, but they will likely limit each other’s upside, and neither Kraft nor Musgrave finished in the top four on the team in targets last season. Jordan Love has the potential to elevate Green Bay’s passing game if he takes another step forward in his second full season as a starter, but the Packers’ young wide receivers would likely benefit much more in that scenario than the team’s tight ends. Scores in playoff loss
Kraft recorded three receptions on six targets for nine yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 24-21 loss to the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
It was a perplexing stat line for Kraft, as he tied for the team lead with six targets and also caught a pivotal two-yard touchdown pass late in the third quarter. However, he managed an abysmal 1.5 yards per target and his longest gain of the day went for only seven yards. Kraft emerged as a key piece of the Packers' offense in the second half of the season due to Luke Musgrave being sidelined by a kidney injury, and the former recorded multiple receptions in each of his last 10 contests. He and Musgrave will likely continue to split targets in 2024 and beyond, as both tight ends will be entering their second season in the NFL.

Starting tenure off to good start
Kraft recorded a touchdown reception in the Packers' Thanksgiving Day win over the Lions, his first game in a starting role that could persist the rest of the season.
ANALYSIS
Rob Demovksy of ESPN.com reports that Luke Musgrave, who Kraft filled in for on Thursday, is not guaranteed to return this season after being placed on injured reserve Wednesday due to a lacerated kidney. As such, Kraft, a fellow member of the 2023 draft class, has a chance to stake a claim to a primary pass-catching role at the tight end position. In his first extended opportunity to do so Thursday, the third-round pick from South Dakota brought in both targets for 15 yards and a touchdown in Green Bay's upset victory over Detroit.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
The Packers selected tight end Luke Musgrave in the second round of this year's draft, but they didn't wait long to snap up another, taking Kraft one round later. Having played collegiately at South Dakota State - an FCS school - Kraft has questions about his ability to produce at the top level. However, he has the athleticism to do so. He could get an opportunity fairly quickly, as the most proven TE on Green Bay's roster is Josiah Deguara, and Kraft is on par with Musgrave when it comes to experience.
