Pfaff Motorsports proved quickest in the GT Daytona class after Robichon went more than four-tenths faster than the rest of the field in Rolex 24 qualifying. Robichon set a 1:45.237 lap time, also a new GTD track record, in the No. 9 Porsche 911 GT3 R on his third flying lap to claim pole, sportscar365.com
It was an impressive performance considering the overall depth and talent present in this GTD field. Robichon beat out the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari of Jeff Westphal, and in the process laid down a track qualifying record in class. It was his third-career IMSA Weathertech pole. Robichon and his co-pilots will be strong contenders to win the GT Daytona class in this weekend's Rolex 24 at Daytona.
