Late withdrawal in Vegas
Spicely has withdrawn from his upcoming matchup against Markus Perez at UFC Vegas 5 on Saturday, Nolan King of MMAJunkie.com reports.

Spicely had been lined up as a (+185) betting underdog for this matchup and even made the trip out to Las Vegas, but will be removed from the card due to what initially was reported as undisclosed reasons. Spicely later released a statement via his personal Twitter account that relayed he had been experiencing weight cut complications as a result of a recent medication he was prescribed to. Specifically, he revealed he had been taking antidepressants to treat head trauma he sustained in his summer 2019 matchup against Deron Winn.
