May 16, 2019
Aguilar said Thursday that she is no longer on the UFC roster, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar, who has gone 1-4 under the UFC promotion since 2015, said she has not received any communications from the UFC after completing the final fight on her contract in March, which was a loss via unanimous decision to Marina Rodriguez at UFC on ESPN 2. Aguilar got her start with the UFC after getting off to a 19-4 start to her professional career.

Dealt indefinite medical suspension
StrawweightOther
April 2, 2019
Aguilar was suspended indefinitely by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission following her unanimous-decision loss to Marina Rodriguez on Saturday, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Rather than the traditional 180 days, Aguilar will be forced to sit out until she is officially cleared by a doctor. The exact injury was not specified, but Aguilar did absorb 118 significant strikes in the fight, 58 of which landed on the head. With just a 1-4 record in the UFC, it's not entirely certain she'll have a job to come back to once cleared, though other US-based promotions typically honor the decisions of most athletic commissions.
Not competitive in loss to Marina Rodriguez
StrawweightOther
March 30, 2019
Aguilar lost to Marina Rodriguez via unanimous decision (27-29, 27-29, 26-29) at UFC on ESPN 2 on Saturday in Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Viewed as one of the better pound-for-pound female fighters in the world when she joined the UFC roster in August 2015, Aguilar's time with the company has been an unmitigated disaster and that disaster continued on Saturday. Aguilar is tough, but her striking defense is abysmal and she is so busy absorbing damage that she can't get off any offense of her own. Set to turn 37 years old in May, things are highly unlikely to get any better for Aguilar. The UFC would be well within their rights to send her packing.
Late addition to UFC on ESPN 2

March 22, 2019
Aguilar has been booked to take on Marina Rodriguez at UFC on ESPN 2 in Philadelphia on March 30, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar will be looking to bounce back after losing in Round 1 of her fight against Weili Zhang via submission at UFC Fight Night 141 back in November. With that loss, Aguilar has now lost three of the four UFC fights she's participated in since joining the promotion back in 2015. She'll have her hands full next weekend, with Rodriguez boasting a perfect 10-0-1 record overall.
Runs into a buzzsaw China
StrawweightOther
November 24, 2018
Aguilar lost Weili Zhang via submission (armbar) at 3:41 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night 141 on Saturday in Beijing, China.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar really struggled in this fight. She came into the contest with a lot of experience, but she could not get anything going here. Weili scored a takedown on top, and she landed a ton of elbows on the top. Aguilar tried to scramble on the ground, but she ended up trapped in a triangle. Weili eventually transitioned to an armbar and finished the fight.
Ticketed to face Zhang at UFC Beijing
StrawweightOther
September 24, 2018
Aguilar will take on Weili Zhang in a strawweight matchup at UFC Beijing on Nov. 24, Marc Raimondi of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran fighter is coming off her first-career UFC victory back in July. Aguilar has 20 career wins under her belt, but now has to face one of UFC's strawweight prospects in Weili Zhang in her home country. Worse yet, Zhang hasn't lost since her first fight back in 2013 and has nine KO/TKO victories and six submissions to her name. On the other hand, half of Aguilar's wins have come via decision, making for a tough matchup in November.
