UFC debut set

Herbert will make his UFC debut on July 25 against Francisco Trinaldo on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, MMAJunkie.com reports.
Herbert was originally set to make his debut with the company in March, but that was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He will no look to take out Herbert who is riding a two-fight win streak. While he is making his debut in the UFC, he is 10-1 in MMA competition.

UFC debut on hold

Herbert will no longer face Marc Diakiese at UFC London following the event's relocation, Diakiese announced via his personal Instagram account.
The UFC will be relocating the weekend's event, per an official statement, which leaves fighters like Herbert unable to secure travel plans on short notice, especially given the recently-imposed restrictions to combat the spread of COVID-19. It's unclear if this matchup will be rescheduled for a later date.
Making UFC debut

Herbert will face Marc Diakiese in a lightweight matchup at UFC London on March 21, MMAFighting.com reports.
Herbert signed a contract with the UFC on Monday, and he will make his debut against Diakiese, stepping in for Stevie Ray, who withdrew for an undisclosed reason. Herbert has won his last five fights while fighting under the Cage Warriors banner, and he'll look to build on that momentum as he heads to the UFC. Diakiese has logged back-to-back victories, most recently defeating Lando Vannata via unanimous decision at UFC Copenhagen in September. Herbert carries a height advantage into the matchup.
