Dusko Todorovic

Not fighting in Cage Warriors 113
March 18, 2020
Todorovic's (9-0-0) scheduled middleweight fight Friday with John Phillips (22-9-0, 1 NC) at Cage Warriors 113 has been cancelled, Simon Head of USA Today reports.
The Todorovic-Phillips fight was a late addition to the Cage Warriors 113 card after the two were previously scheduled to face off in the UFC London event that has since been cancelled. Though Cage Warriors 113 will still be held after moving from London to Manchester, travel restrictions amid the coronavirus outbreak will prevent Todorovic and Phillips from taking part.

Facing Phillips in Cage Warriors fight
March 16, 2020
Todorovic (9-0-0) and John Phillips (22-9-0, 1 NC), who had previously been scheduled for a middleweight fight at UFC London on Saturday, will instead face one another Friday in an event for the Cage Warriors promotion, Simon Head of USA Today reports.
The UFC cancelled its event in London due to concerns about the coronavirus, but Cage Warriors 113 will still be held in the city this weekend, though as a closed-doors event in advance of the United Kingdom's expected banishment of mass gatherings. Since Todorovic and Phillips were already en route to London before the UFC event's cancellation, the two fighters received clearance to join the Cage Warriors promotion in what looks to be a one-time arrangement.
Fight off this weekend
March 15, 2020
Todorovic will no longer face John Phillips on Saturday following the relocation of UFC London, MMAJunkie.com reports.
The UFC will be relocating the weekend's event, per an official statement, which leaves fighters like Todorovic unable to secure travel plans on short notice, especially given the recently-imposed restrictions to combat the spread of COVID-19. It's unclear if this matchup will be rescheduled for a later date.
Set to make UFC debut
December 23, 2019
Todorovic (9-0-0) will take on John Phillips (22-9-0, 1 NC) in a middleweight bout at UFC London on March 21, BBC.com reports.
Todorovic wasn't able to get the finish at Dana White's Contender Series in August when he defeated Teddy Ash via unanimous decision, but he showed enough to earn a contract. He was able to conserve his energy and utilize the clinch game to ultimately secure the victory. Phillips is coming off a win over Alen Amedovski via KO (punches) at UFC Copenhagen in September, which snapped a three-fight losing streak. While Phillips' victory was impressive since it was accomplished after only 17 seconds, he's been inconsistent in the past. Todorovic carries a height advantage, while Phillips has a slight advantage in reach.
Main event favorite earns contract
August 28, 2019
Todorovic defeated Teddy Ash via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. He was one of three fighters to be awarded a contract at the conclusion of the event.
While the Serbian prospect didn't get the finish, White liked what he saw enough to award Todorovic the final contract of this summer's series. He was dominant in the clinch game in particular, but also showed the head movement of a more experienced fighter, in addition to a chin when he had to. Todorovic did what was expected of him as a (-265) betting favorite, and appears to have fight IQ that is much more advanced than his age would suggest. He saved his energy when he needed it, and made sure he did what he had to in order to win the fight. It will take very heavy hands to put this man on his back come time for his UFC debut.
