Shows some clean striking in defeat

August 10, 2019
Moffett lost to Enrique Barzola via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night in Montevideo, Uruguay on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
At times it looked like Moffett was going to run away with this fight. He appeared to have the cleaner striking technique and landed flush early and often. However, Barzola never stopped coming forward. His pressure really gave Moffett some trouble as the fight went on. Despite the loss and a 1-2 UFC record, Moffett will almost certainly return to the UFC after this performance. It was impressive even in defeat.

Moffett completed five successful takedowns in the bout and owns an impressive 72 percent takedown accuracy (over a two-fight sample size), and The Wolfman will carry a three-inch height and four-inch reach advantage into the Octagon. Considering both he Barzola have fairly high takedown averages per 15 minutes, this fight may see the pair spending plenty of time on the mat.
Gets outscrambled in loss

March 23, 2019
Moffett lost to Bryce Mitchell via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night 148 in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Moffett got dropped early in the first round Saturday but was able to lean on his wrestling to stay in the fight. The success was short-lived however, as Mitchell seemed to possess the better BJJ game on this night, hitting sweeps and threatening with submissions to get back to comfortable positions. Moffett notched a controversial win in his UFC debut when Chas Skelly was ruled to have passed out from a D'arce choke, and couldn't quite put the stamp on this bout to formally announce his arrival in the organization. Still, Moffett's wrestling and BJJ will likely serve to at least make him competitive going forward. He falls to 14-4 in professional MMA as a result of the loss, but will take home a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus for his efforts.
Submits Chas Skelly in UFC debut Saturday

November 10, 2018
Moffett defeated Chas Skelly via technical submission (D'arce choke) at 2:43 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Denver.
ANALYSIS
Moffett's UFC debut wasn't without controversy, but he emerged victorious. He did a nice job of pounding Skelly with leg kicks and he worked very hard to secure the submission that ultimately ended the fight. Of course, it may not have been a submission at all, but Moffett could care less about that. The 28-year-old MMA Lab product now has nine submission wins in 17 career fights.
To make UFC debut against Chas Skelly
FeatherweightPFL
September 4, 2018
Moffett, during his UFC debut, will fight Chas Skelly at UFC Denver on Nov. 10, Damon Martin of MMA Weekly reports.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old is 13-3 as a professional, with eight of his victories coming via submission. In his most recent fight, which helped earn him a UFC contract, he defeated Jacob Kilburn in Round 2 via Brabo Choke. Prior to that fight, he had won four of his past five. Moffett's opponent, Skelly, is 33 years old and 17-3 as a pro. Skelly has secured 10 of his wins through submission and three via KO/TKO. He's struggled lately, however, going an even 2-2 over his past four fights. Most recently, he lost via third-round TKO to Jason Knight at UFC 221.
