Drafted 73rd at 2021 NHL Draft
LWDallas Stars  College
July 24, 2021
Martino was drafted 73rd overall by the Stars at the 2021 NHL Draft on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Martino won over a lot of scouts this season with a stellar performance for USHL Omaha. He finished eighth in the league in scoring (56 points in 38 games) and fifth in points-per-game (1.47). Martino's hockey IQ is exceptional. He always knows exactly where to be in all three zones. He doesn't offer much in terms of size (5-foot-10, 170 pounds) and his foot speed is no better than average, but Martino's awareness of everything that is going on around him is truly impressive. A native of Toronto, Martino is primed to be an immediate contributor upon his arrival at the Clarkson University campus this fall.
