Latest Fantasy Rumors
Might get his next start soon
GSan Jose Sharks
April 4, 2024
Cooley is likely to get a start at home against St. Louis on Saturday or Arizona on Sunday, according to Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News.
ANALYSIS
It would be Cooley's third career NHL start. He stopped 52 of 61 shots over his first two top-level appearances and is searching for his first NHL win. Vitek Vanecek has a lower-body injury and might miss the remainder of the campaign, so Cooley could remain with the big club for what's left of 2023-24. However, San Jose will probably continue to hand the majority of the workload to Mackenzie Blackwood.
