Gustafsson is expected to be in the lineup for Thursday's regular-season finale against Vancouver, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Gustafsson has played in just three of the Jets' last 12 contests, serving primarily as a healthy scratch of late. Even with the lower-body injury to Morgan Barron, the inclusion of Gustafsson and others in the lineup Thursday would seem to indicate coach Rick Bowness is preparing to rest some of Winnipeg's stars ahead of the playoffs.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Gustafsson had one goal in 22 games in 2019-20, his first year in NHL. He was mostly an injury replacement for Bryan Little, but lost the role by early December. Gustafsson also had seven points in 13 outings with AHL Manitoba. The second-round pick from 2018 doesn't have a notorious scoring record back in his native Sweden -- it's most likely he ends up as a defensive-minded forward when he becomes an NHL regular. The Jets are deep enough down the middle to send Gustafsson to the minors for more experience in 2020-21, so there's no reason for fantasy managers to roster him early in the year.
