Inks entry-level deal
GNew York Rangers  Minors
May 8, 2020
The Rangers signed Wall to an entry-level contract Friday.
ANALYSIS
Wall posted spectacular seasons in three of his four campaigns with UMass-Lowell, sporting a 2.10 GAA or lower and a .918 save percentage or above in three campaigns. A sixth-round pick in 2016, he will now forgo his final season at school. He's still got some proving to do at the professional level and faces a big obstacle for playing time with the Rangers in Igor Shesterkin, but Wall could find his way to a spot on an NHL roster in a couple of seasons if he continues on his current path.
