GOALIE
Ben Bishop, DAL at STL ($7,600): Bishop has been lights out this playoffs, second only to Robin Lehner in save percentage (.945) and GAA (1.90). The Blues are coming off a weird series in which the road team won every game until Game 6, and the Stars are carrying a lot of momentum with an overtime win to clinch their series. Among the remaining teams, the Blues are last averaging 30.7 shots per game.
CENTER
Matt Duchene, CLS at BOS ($5,700): Odds are the Bruins will start Patrice Bergeron and Zdeno Chara against Pierre-Luc Dubois' line with Artemi Panarin, which makes Duchene's life a lot easier. After a quiet Game 1, Duchene scored seven points in the next three games to eliminate the Lightning, and he's faring well for his first ever postseason appearance.
Charlie Coyle, BOS vs. CLS ($3,700): The quality of the Jackets defense dives off a cliff after the top three guys, and as the third-line center Coyle will get a lot of matchups that tilt in his favour. The Jackets are physical but Coyle's built for it, and he's playing with two wingers (Marcus Johansson, Karson Kuhlman) who have a lot of speed and generate a lot of chaos on the forecheck. He scored three goals against the Leafs in the opening round.
WING
Jamie Benn, DAL at STL ($5,800): The Stars won both of their final meetings in the regular season by a combined score of 9-3, and Benn accounted for five of those goals. The stats don't really show it (one goal, six points) but Benn was excellent against the Preds, and he would've gotten the third assist on John Klingberg's series-winning goal. Given his performances and past success against the Blues, Benn is very underpriced.
Oskar Sundqvist, STL vs. DAL ($3,300): He had a modest breakout season with 31 points in 74 games after playing sparingly as a fourth liner last year, and now he's playing on the second line with Brayden Schenn and Jaden Schwartz. He's well-suited for the playoffs with his size and physicality, finishing the Jets series on a strong note with five shots in a punishing series. The upside is modest but the price could be a bargain.
Alexandre Texier, CLS at BOS ($2,900): He's been a sparkplug for the Jackets, scoring two goals in the deciding game and earning a lot of John Tortorella's trust along the way. Depth should play a big role in this series, and if the top two lines cancel each other out, it's Texier and the third line that has to be the difference maker. Texier and linemates Nick Foligno and Josh Anderson combined for seven points in Round 1.
DEFENSE
Seth Jones, CLS at BOS ($5,400): Jones has been incredibly efficient this playoffs, scoring two goals and four points on just three shots with a plus-3 rating, and that was against the league's best team. The Jackets really only use three defensemen, with Jones being deployed the most, and it wouldn't be surprising if he led everyone in ice time every game. His current production and significant playing time teases a lot of upside.
Vince Dunn, STL at DAL ($3,900): At some point, the Stars' perfect 15-for-15 penalty kill has to come crashing back down to earth. There's no way it's sustainable, and the Blues' power play ranks third among teams still in the playoffs. Alex Pietrangelo remains the top power-play option, but Dunn has been equally effective, tying him with two power-play points against the Jets. Dunn is a boom-or-bust option but offers up plenty of upside.
