26-Year-Old SafetyS
Carolina Panthers
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Nick Scott and Taylor Rapp and their combined 1,885 defensive snaps are gone, and Fuller, who spent most of 2022 on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, will be called upon to replicate his 113-tackle 2021 season while taking over as the Rams' primary strong safety. Durability has been the biggest concern for Fuller since entering the NFL, with a lighter frame and lesser athleticism that may have played a factor in missing 19 games through his first three campaigns. ANALYSIS
Fuller was forced to miss the Rams' wild-card loss to the Lions due to an ankle injury, but it now seems as if he's moved past the issue. After spending the first four seasons of his career in Los Angeles, the Ohio State product will look to build on a productive 2023 campaign during which he recorded 84 total tackles, three forced fumbles and eight passes defended, including three interceptions, across 17 games. The 26-year-old safety is expected to help fortify a Panthers' defense that already ranked third in passing yards allowed per game (171.5) in 2023.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
Although a 2020 sixth-round pick, Fuller established himself as a standout safety almost from Day 1. His real-life play didn’t translate to big IDP production that year, but in 2021 Fuller broke out with 113 tackles on 989 snaps. Durability is arguably Fuller’s biggest concern. He played 12 games as a rookie and suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Week 18 last year. The recovery is reportedly on schedule.
The Ohio State product made an immediate impact as a rookie in 2020 and won a starting job in training camp. It was a surprise considering the Rams plucked him from the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Fuller finished the campaign with 60 tackles (42 solo), five pass defenses and three interceptions through 12 games. He missed one contest with a shoulder injury and another three due to a neck stinger. Fuller has potential to take a step forward in 2021, but he probably shouldn't be viewed as a week-in, week-out option in most IDP formats.
