Serious potential if healthy
OGDenver Broncos
May 20, 2020
Muti could prove to be a high-value sixth-round pick if he can stay healthy, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Some pro scouts apparently graded Muti as a potential second-round selection heading into April's draft based on his overall talent and character, but his stock was severely hampered by injury concerns. The 21-year-old played in only five games over the last two seasons for Fresno State, as he dealt with a Lisfranc injury while also tearing both of his Achilles during his college career. Denver is expected to go with 2019 second-round pick Dalton Risner and free-agent signing Graham Glasgow as its starting guards in 2020, so Muti won't face immediate pressure to showcase his potential. However, another injury in training camp could make it difficult for him to secure a spot on the season-opening roster.
