ANALYSIS
After signing with the Eagles in February, Blair -- was let go with a failed physical designation -- per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, now will look for a new suitor ahead of the 2023 season once he's deemed healthy. The safety appeared in three games with the Panthers in 2022, recording one tackle while playing 24 of his 25 total snaps with the special-teams units.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2020
2019
Blair almost logged more snaps on special teams than on defense in his rookie season, as he averaged just 14.9 defensive snaps per game. Now, the Seahawks traded for All-Pro Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs, who are expected to man the strong and free safety roles. Blair isn't going to fade away, however, because defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. sees a role for the second-year safety at nickel corner. Additionally, with Adams' ability to move around the formation, Blair could reasonably see plenty of reps at safety even if he's not the starter. The Seahawks appear dedicated to getting Blair on the field, so he should easily surpass the 32 tackles he recorded in 2019.
Blair played two seasons for the University of Utah before entering the draft where he was selected in the second round by the Seahawks. He was a strong college safety both on and off the ball, but a potentially serious back injury he suffered in the preseason could delay his debut. Regardless, he'll have to beat out Tedric Thompson for a consistent snap count, but he should be the first safety called upon if Bradley McDougald gets injured. When he eventually gets on the field, his IDP value is low since he wasn't a turnover machine in college.
