2023 Fantasy Outlook
Jenkins played in all 17 games for the Jaguars in 2022 and totaled 116 tackles (73 solo), one sack, 12 passes defensed, three interceptions and three forced fumbles, with the tackles, passes defensed and fumbles representing career highs. He reworked his contract with Jacksonville during the offseason so he remains under contract for the next two years, and his tackle numbers could make him a solid IDP target at safety in 2023. ANALYSIS
Jenkins will officially head to Seattle after spending the last three seasons in Jacksonville, most recently recording 101 tackles, including 1.0 sacks, while also intercepting two passes and deflecting nine others over 17 games in 2023. He'll likely replace Quandre Diggs, who was released, as the team's starting free safety in 2024.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2020
2019
A 2017 fourth-round pick by the Chargers, Jenkins started at strong safety the past two seasons and totaled 138 tackles (92 solo) with five interceptions and a sack in 31 games. The 27-year-old signed a four-year deal with the Jaguars in March and should bring some stability to a young secondary. Jenkins could have modest IDP value as a box safety in his first season with Jacksonville.
The decision to let Adrian Phillips leave for New England sets the stage for Jenkins to play a prominent role in the team's special teams depth. While he's expected to compete with 2019 second-round pick Nasir Adderley for a starting role, the Gus Bradley-led system tends to use a plethora of safeties regardless as in-box tacklers. Unless he starts, however, it's unlikely Jenkins will be anything more than a modest contributor in IDP leagues.
The release of Jahleel Addae and expected long-term injury to All-Pro Derwin James opens up the possibility Jenkins could see significant snaps alongside Adrian Phillips and Nasir Adderley with the former expected to start at free safety. Addae recorded at least 65 tackles in three of the last four seasons as the starter, but Jenkins profiles more as a ballhawk as opposed to a heavy hitter like the since departed incumbent. Regardless, the 25-year-old should see enough snaps to earn possible consideration as an IDP option in deeper leagues and could vault even higher into the tier if he's able to consistently earn playing time as the season progresses.
