IDP Analysis: Week 3 Matchups

This article is part of our IDP Analysis series.

With rosters of all shapes and sizes, IDP advice can be a bit tricky, so the purpose of this article is to point out players whose values are elevated for the upcoming week. Some of these players will be superstars, while others will be found on many waiver wires. We'll look at team positional groupings, based on the potential for a favorable game script. Whether you're streaming IDPs each week or have a stocked roster, this "one size fits all" approach hopefully will help most everyone find a weekly edge.

Linebackers

Titans (at Jaguars) – Players with elevated value: Rashaan Evans, Jayon Brown and Harold Landry.

In what should be a divisional slugfest, both teams should be able to get what they really want, which is to run the football as often as possible. Playing at home, this could be a game in which the Jaguars get a lead and let Leonard Fournette be their battering ram, as they try to run out the clock, making it a great day to fire up your Titans' LBs.

Dolphins (at Cowboys) – Players with elevated value: Raekwon McMillan, Jerome Baker, Sam Eguavoen and Charles Harris (questionable).

There's no doubt that Dallas will be able to rip off the Miami defense any way they want. But in a game they should have in hand by halftime, they'll likely look to shorten the game by pounding the rock mercilessly behind their great OL. Although they'll be very tired at the
