DraftKings LoL: Sunday LPL/LCK Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings League of Legends series.

Games (EDT)

  • 4:00 a.m: T1 vs. Team Dynamics
  • 5:00 a.m: LGD Gaming vs. OMG
  • 6:50 a.m: Edward Gaming vs. Royal Never Give Up
  • 7:00 a.m: Hanwha Life Esports vs. Gen.G

T1 vs. DYN

This slate has a couple very one-sided matchups in the LCK, but over in the LPL we might see some closer games. T1 will go through this matchup with ease and are expected to 2-0 here. Everyone and the team slot are viable for T1, but looking at the kill leader for the Summer, it's still Teddy at ADC. He holds the most kills by a large margin netting 77 this split, and he has the highest kill participation at almost 70 percent. The second highest kill contributor on T1 is surprisingly Canna in the TOP lane. Top lane in the past is usually isolated to their lane and didn't have much action, but with carries like Wukong and Volibear, Top lane players are looking to compete with the other two carry positions on the rift.

Prediction to Win: T1 2-0

  • T1 Players to Target: Everyone on T1

LGD vs. OMG

The two series in the LPL should be close, and the first one between LGD and OMG includes some different advantages when looking at lane matchups. Icon is the better mid lane in the matchup, but when it comes to the 2v2 of Jungle/Mid I have to give the advantage to LGD since Peanut outclasses H4cker. In the bot lane, I have to give

In the bot lane, I have to give the advantage to LGD, with Kramer and Mark starting. Kramer is far and away the best performer in kills this summer sitting at 80, though the highest kill participation is Peanut with 77 percent, making both very good targets.

Prediction to Win: LGD 2-1

EDG vs. RNG

Both of these teams are very close to one another in the standings. GALA will be starting this series for RNG, so make sure Betty isn't in your lineups for Sunday. XLB in the Jungle is the kill leader (51) and kill participation (72 percent) leader for RNG, while Xiaohu comes in next with 49 kills this Summer. Gala currently has an 85 percent KP, though this is in a small three-game sample. On the side of EDG, Hope in the ADC is the kill leader by a large margin with 82, followed by Scout at (66). Another note on this match: JunJia will be starting in the jungle over JieJie.

Prediction to Win: RNG 2-1

  • RNG Players to Target: Gala ($7,600) Xiaohu ($7,600), XLB ($6,400)
  • EDG Players to Target: Hope ($7,200), Scout ($7,200)

HLE vs. GEN

This is the most uneven game on the slate, with GEN a -1400 favorite in the betting market. This matchup will mirror the T1 game, and everyone on GEN is viable. Looking at the top performers for GEN, we have Ruler in the ADC position with 75 kills this Summer, and he leads in kill participation at 70 percent. The next highest kill leader is Bdd (65) in the MID lane. When all is said and done, this should be a very quick series for GEN and they might also get some wins under thirty minutes for the team slot as well.

Prediction to Win GEN 2-0

  • GEN Players to Target: Everyone on GEN
