DraftKings CS:GO Thursday LOOT Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings CS:GO series.

GAMES (EDT)

  • 5:30 a.m. SKADE vs. Winstrike
  • 8:30 a.m. SMASH vs. Espada

SKADE vs. Winstrike

With FLASHPOINT on a break, we have to settle for LOOT.BET Season 6. The prize pools may have been reduced significantly, but this is still a decent spot to take advantage of those who are not too familiar with the players in lower-tier European CS:GO. In this first matchup, SKADE will take on Winstrike in a best-of-three. This should be a closely contested matchup, but I would slightly edge it in favor of Winstrike. Rainwaker has elevated his game in recent months, and he has been priced accordingly. However, dennyslaw actually leads the team with a K/D ratio of 1.15 and 0.74 kills/round since the team was formed back in October of last year, and he is excellent value at $7,400. After these two, it gets a lot dicier. Personally, I would take a chance on SPELLAN at $5,000 over rafftu and Rock1nG.

Winstrike might be a bit more familiar to your average viewer, with players like HObbit and bondik, who have been regulars on the major circuit, and I would expect people to gravitate towards these guys on name value alone. There are two players I would look to target here, and that is HObbit and El1an. HObbit leads this team with 0.71 kills/round and 0.14 assists/round since the team was formed, and El1an is a very dominant AWPer who has the potential to dominate a series. When it comes to the lower-priced options

When it comes to the lower-priced options on Winstrike, it is between Lack1 and bondik. Personally, I would be tempted to play Lack1 at the lower price in GPPs because he is a very aggressive player, and while there will be times that he bombs, he does get more kills than bondik overall.

SKADE Players to Target: Rainwaker ($8,400), dennyslaw ($7,400), SPELLAN ($5,000)
Winstrike Players to Target: El1an ($8,600), HObbit ($7,800), Lack1 ($6,000)

SMASH vs. Espada

SMASH will be playing this match with a stand-in, as NEEX decided to leave the team a few days ago. This roster actually has decent talent, but they have really struggled to close games out. I would only consider three players on the roster: disco doplan, grux and fejtZ. All three are talented individuals, and I would slightly lean towards the Swedish duo of disco doplan and grux. However, I would be careful about going too heavy on SMASH, especially in cash games, as they will be facing off against a pretty solid Espada roster.

On the side of Espada, degster is a fantastic player, and he is well worth his high salary. He leads his team with a K/D ratio of 1.38 with 0.80 kills/round. Dima is the second-best player on the team statistically, and I would look to pair him up with degster, if possible. If you want to go for a lower-priced option, both patsi and FinigaN are viable options. Personally, I would gravitate towards FinigaN at the lower-price, as it gives you a bit more flexibility when it comes to roster construction.

SMASH Players to Target: disco dopan ($8,000), grux ($6,200), fejtZ ($7,200)
Espada Players to Target: degster ($8,800), Dima ($8,200), FinigaN ($6,400)
