DraftKings CS:GO Sunday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings CS:GO series.

GAMES (EDT)

  • 12:00 p.m. HAVU vs. Cloud9
  • 12:00 p.m Astralis vs. Natus Vincere
  • 3:00 p.m MAD Lions vs. FunPlus Phoenix
  • 4:00 p.m mousesports vs. OG
  • 6:00 p.m MiBR vs. Gen.G

Astralis (4–1) vs. Natus Vincere (3–2)

Astralis were surprisingly beaten by NiP in the opening match of ESL Pro League, but they have been flawless since then, beating GODSENT, Spirit, ENCE and Vitality. They are now set to face off against Natus Vincere, a team that has gone from strength-to-strength in recent months. The CIS side also had a tough start to the season, dropping games against BIG and North, but wins against forZe, Complexity and fnatic proved to be enough to top the group. s1mple is the highest-priced player on the slate and for good reason. The former no. 1 player in the world leads all players in EPL with 0.79 kills/round, and he will be worth rostering despite the difficult matchup. I would also consider electronic, who is arguably one of the best pure riflers in the world.

The Astralis side gets a bit more interesting. device is the best player on this team, and he has been priced accordingly, so no surprise there. However, Magisk is currently the lowest-priced player on Astralis, which is absolutely bizarre. He is not as aggressive as dupreeh, which often results in a higher K/D ratio, and he averages more frags than everyone but device. Magisk is an excellent play at this price, and he will likely be popular. If you want

Magisk is an excellent play at this price, and he will likely be popular. If you want to go for the ultimate contrarian play, I would consider Xyp9x. He is generally regarded as more of a supportive player on this team, but this guy clutches for a living and will sometimes put up great numbers.

Astralis Players to Target: device ($8,800) Magisk ($7,200)
Natus Vincere Players to Target: s1mple ($9,000) electronic ($8,000)

HAVU (4–1) vs. Cloud9 (5–1)

HAVU will face off against Cloud9 in the Group A final of Flashpoint. The Finns from HAVU have looked very solid so far, taking down the likes of MAD Lions, c0ntact and Envy. doto is in excellent form, but I would personally opt for sLowi, who has been the more consistent performer. Another name to look out for is ZOREE, who is a very dominant AWPer. He leads his team with a K/D ratio of 1.27 and 0.77 kills/round since doto joined the roster back in September of last year.

Cloud9 are coming off a victory against Envy, which was the only team that got the better of them in the first phase. floppy, motm and oSee had another great performance, and they will be the ones to target on Cloud9 yet again.

HAVU Players to Target: ZOREE ($7,400) sLowi ($7,600) hoody ($7,000)
Cloud9 Players to Target: floppy ($7,800) motm ($8,400) oSee ($8,400)

MAD Lions (5–1) vs. FunPlus Phoenix (2–1)

Some valuable points will be on the line as MAD Lions are set to take on FunPlus Phoenix. The Danes will be the favorites in this matchup against FPX, and Bubzkji will likely be a popular play once more after his godlike performance against c0ntact. He posted a bonkers K/D ratio of 1.53 with 0.86 kills/round in that series. Personally, I would be tempted to pivot to sjuush and acoR, who are more reasonably priced. They tend to put up similar, if not better, numbers than Bubzkji. On the side of FunPlus Phoenix, dapr will be the only guy I feel comfortable rostering against a very strong MAD Lions team.

MAD Lions Players to Target: acoR ($6,000) sjuush ($7,400)
FunPlus Phoenix Players to Target: dapr ($8,600)

mousesports (4–1) vs. OG (4–2)

mousesports are set to take on OG in stage two of ESL Pro League. The last time these two sides met, OG absolutely annihilated mousesports on Train and Inferno to win the series. mousesports were unable to get more than five rounds on the board on either of those two maps. Despite this, they are coming in as the favorite in this matchup once more. Both ropz and frozen will make for excellent plays, as they have been the two big guns for mousesports so far in ESL Pro League. woxic has not been his usual self lately, but with a salary of $6,800, he will make for a solid play in top-heavy lineups.

On the side of OG, mantuu, ISSAA and valde will be the ones to target. NBK might be popular after pulling off some heroics against Vitality, but I would rather go for ISSAA at a similar price point. The Jordanian is wildly inconsistent, but he has some serious mechanical ability, and he can definitely pop off even against a team of mousesports' caliber.

mousesports Players to Target: ropz ($8,200) frozen ($8,000) woxic ($6,800)
OG Players to Target: mantuu ($8,600) valde ($7,400) ISSAA ($4,800)

MiBR (5–1) vs. Gen.G (3–3)

MiBR will look to make it three in a row against Gen.G. Gen.G broke double digits in all but one map in their two previous meetings with MiBR, but the Brazilians proved to be the superior side in the end. Both fer and kNgV- have looked solid in these two meetings, with FalleN chiming in as well. While I think that meyern has a bright future, he doesn't quite excel in MIBR's system, and I think there is no reason to roster him unless you want to pursue a contrarian strategy.

On the side of Gen.G, I think you could make an argument for rostering anyone but daps. koosta and BnTeT are coming in hot after a good performance against Dignitas, but I think that autimatic and s0m make for great plays at this price point as well. If I could only roster one guy from Gen.G, it would be koosta. He was the top scorer in yesterday's match against Dignitas and was among the best players in both prior meetings with MiBR as well.

MiBR Players to Target: kNgV- ($7,000) fer ($7,400)
Gen.G Players to Target: koosta ($7,200) autimatic ($7,000)
