After whitewashing West Indies in all three formats at their den, India gear up to lock horns with a new look South African side I'm the first T20I of the three-match series at Dharamsala on Sunday. India have rested their main bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal and, hence, that gives the fringe players like Deepak Chahar, Khaleel Ahmed, Rahul Chahar and Navdeep Saini to show what they are capable of. The batting lineup remains pretty much the same.
South Africa, on the other hand, have completely revamped their squad. They will be led by an experienced Quinton de Kock and new players like George Linde and Anrich Nortje look all set to play all the three games. However, few of the familiar faces like David Miller and Kagiso Rabada still remain and the onus will be on them to lead the youngsters by example.
Weather Conditions: The weather forecast for Sunday isn't that inspiring. It rained quite a hit on Saturday and the same is supposed to happen on Sunday. There might be a few interruptions but a shortened game can still be expected.
Pitch Conditions: The deck at Dharamsala has predominantly favored the batsmen. Scores in excess of 170 is often registered and the team batting second generally has the advantage.
