Chatman (personal) placed his name in the NCAA's transfer portal Sept. 17 and is expected to move on from Florida State, Chris Nee of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The redshirt sophomore defensive tackle will leave Tallahassee without having ever played under first-year head coach Mike Norvell, as Chatman became the first Florida State player to opt out of the 2020 season back in August. Though he was initially expected to resume his playing career in 2021, Chatman will now try his luck at a different school. He'll have three years of eligibility remaining in 2021 and should be able to compete right away at his next stop.
