College Football DFS: Friday Slate, Week 9

Conference Preview: Mountain West
July 26, 2021
Chris Morgan breaks down the Mountain West from a fantasy angle, identifying the All-MWC teams along with sleepers and busts from the conference. Can Carson Strong take another step for Nevada?
2022 Fantasy Outlook
After notching a career high in carries last season, Lee is poised to be halfback 1B for the Wolf Pack behind fellow fifth-year senior Toa Taua. Lee and Taua, contrary to the rest of Nevada’s skill positions, carry a wealth of experience that head coach Ken Wilson can and should lean on. Taua should still get the majority of the carries as the more explosive back, but Lee offers a nice change-of-pace option and will take the load off of his backfield mate. Lee will likely see less of the third-down work in the backfield, as he saw 28 targets to Taua’s 52 in 2021. Regardless, both backs will be given their fair share of work, and 100 carries for Lee isn’t out of the question.
