Leaving program
April 27, 2021
Weinman will no longer play football, as he's decided to focus his attention on school, Davis Potter of the Casper Star-Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Weinman recorded four receptions for 49 yards in a small role with the team last year. He was expected to serve as the No. 2 tight end option coming into 2021, but he's since decided to focus solely on his academics and will retire from football. Treyton Welch will continue on as the No. 1 tight end, while Jackson Marcotte and Parker Christensen will battle to become the next man up for the Cowboys.
