2018 Fantasy Outlook
An early enrollee, Annestad impressed the coaching staff enough that he bypassed JUCO quarterback Vic Viramontes on the depth chart and will enter fall camp in a two-way battle with Tanner Morgan for the starting job. The walk-on capped off spring with an 11-for-18 performance for 186 yards and a touchdown in the spring game. Morgan had an equally impressive showing, however, and is the one on scholarship for the Gophers. Should Annexstad earn the job, he will at least have a proven wideout in Tyler Johnson.
