Hauls in four catches Thursday
October 20, 2022
Carter (undisclosed) had four catches for 43 yards in Thursday's 16-9 loss to Virginia.
ANALYSIS
Carter was tabbed as day-to-day earlier in the week but was able to suit up and was second on the team in catches and receiving yards. The senior wideout has not been very impactful when on the field. Outside of Week 4, during which he had three catches for 89 yards and a score, Carter has just 10 catches for 112 yards across six games.

College Football DFS: Thursday Slate Week 15
December 9, 2020
Nick Grays breaks down Thursday's two-game slate from a DFS perspective. Can Pitt's Jordan Addison take advantage of the favorable matchup against Georgia Tech's leaky secondary?
2021 Fantasy Outlook
Malachi Carter enters 2021 a the Jackets defacto top wide receiver following the departure of Jalen Camp. He’s gone for just 36 catches for 530 yards and five touchdowns across his last two seasons, but at 6-foot-3, he’s proven he can be at least a jump ball threat with that 14.7 yard per catch tally. While Georgia Tech is in it’s second year transitioning from the triple option offense, they remain a likely run-first attack this year, led by a budding star in Jahmyr Gibbs, Jordan Mason and dual-threat QB Jeff Sims. Carter will need two things if he’s to provide a breakout campaign, and they seem to go hand in hand. Carter had 23 targets in his final five games, at least four in each, but it resulted in only six catches. Improved accuracy from Sims, and efficiency from Carter, will go a long ways in determining his potential.
