Cureton announced May 21 via social media that he will join FCS Eastern Kentucky as a transfer from Nevada, Chris Murray of NevadaSportsNet.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Since the signal-caller is moving outside of the FBS ranks to continue his playing career, he'll be eligible to compete right away at Eastern Kentucky with two years of eligibility remaining. One of five quarterbacks to leave the Nevada program in the past 15 months, Cureton started two games at quarterback for the Wolf Pack in 2017 but struggled to move up the depth chart over the subsequent two seasons. He'll end his time with the Wolf Pack with 20 completions on 38 attempts for 213 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
