Continuing career at UNI
TENo Current School
May 24, 2020
Fourtenbary announced Friday via his personal Twitter account that he will join Northern Iowa as a graduate transfer from Western Kentucky.
ANALYSIS
Since he'll be leaving Western Kentucky with his degree and is dropping outside of the FBS ranks, Fourtenbary will be able to compete right away for the Panthers for what will be his final year of eligibility. After recording 36 receptions for 302 yards and two touchdowns in 2018, Fourtenbary saw his numbers drop across the board as a junior (nine catches for 108 yards and a touchdown) while true freshman Josh Simon emerged as the Hilltoppers' top pass-catching tight end. Expect Fourtenbary to see more reps and an expanded role in the passing game as he moves on to the FCS school.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Not a lot of college football teams use their tight ends much, but in 2018 WKU was one of them. Fourtenbary had 36 catches for 302 yards and two touchdowns, but he wasn't even the top tight end for the Hilltoppers. That was Mik'Quan Deane, who had 44 catches for 530 yards and six touchdowns. Deane has graduated, though, which means Fourtenbary could have an even bigger role in 2019. That would be exciting, but there is one snag. Western Kentucky has a new head coach. Will Tyson Helton use the tight end as much? Or will Fourtenbary be left in the lurch?
