Cowley did nearly all of his damage on a 52-yard strike. For the year, he never topped three catches in any game, and topped 34 yards only one other time, leaving him with 28 catches, 311 yards and a touchdown on the year. That sum isn't incredibly awful at a position without much top-tier depth, and it's possible Cowley emerges as more of a threat in 2020. Not only will Virginia need to replace 152 catches, 1,741 yards and 13 touchdowns due to the departure of WRs Hasise Dubois and Joe Reed, a new quarterback could look to Cowley as a safety valve more frequently.
