Mays' health is evidently improving -- he upped his workload from one non-carry snap in Week 8 to an eight-carry effort against a tough San Diego State defense Friday. Barring a glowing assurance on his health indicating a preparedness for a return to a full-time workload, Mays will be too risky to start, but he is worth a speculative pickup in some leagues in case he gets healthy for the final month of the schedule. He would be a nice fantasy start if he's healthy for the likes of Wyoming, New Mexico or Nevada.
