Adams agreed Tuesday with the Alouettes on a contract extension that runs through the 2022 season, CFL.ca reports.

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound signal-caller will stick around in Montreal a little while longer after guiding the Alouettes to a 10-8 record last season, allowing the club to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
