Saint Louis announced April 29 that Linssen joined the program as a graduate transfer from UNC Wilmington.
ANALYSIS
Linssen will be able to compete immediately at Saint Louis while retaining two years of eligibility after earning his degree from UNC Wilmington this spring. Saint Louis will mark the third Division I stop of Linssen's career after he spent his freshman year at Valparaiso in 2017-18 before moving on to UNC Wilmington. After taking a redshirt in 2018-19 to comply with NCAA transfer rules, Linssen emerged as a regular starter for the Seahawks as a redshirt sophomore in 2019-20, averaging 10.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 20.4 minutes per contest. Linssen should provide depth at both post spots behind returning frontcourt starters Hasahn French and Javonte Perkins.
