Testing draft waters
GArizona State
April 29, 2020
Verge declared for the 2020 NBA Draft prior to Sunday's deadline, Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star reports.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear at this point if Verge is merely testing the draft process or if he plans to forgo his remaining season of collegiate eligibility, but he would more than likely go undrafted if he opts to turn professional. The 6-foot-3 guard started in nine of his 28 appearances with Arizona State in 2019-20, averaging 14.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.4 steals in 26.8 minutes per game.
