Romeo Langford

Officially headed for NBA

Langford posted Monday via his personal Twitter account that he will remain in the 2019 NBA Draft.
ANALYSIS
Langford's draft position may have slipped out of the lottery after a relatively poor showing in Big Ten play, but being a one-and-done player was essentially a forgone conclusion from the day he set foot in Bloomington. Langford also sat out three NIT games due to a thumb injury to finish out the season, and apparently will require surgery to correct a ligament issue that dates back to the start of his freshman year. How much the thumb issue affected his shooting ability remains to be seen, which makes him a high-risk, high-reward option come June's NBA Draft. Even with those concerns, he likely wouldn't be leaving school without assurances of a first-round selection.
