Heading to the NBA
GCreighton
April 15, 2021
Ballock announced Thursday that he will forego his additional year of eligibility and enter the 2021 NBA Draft, Jon Nyatawa of the Omaha World-Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Ballock confirmed that he has signed with an agent which means he is not considering returning to college for another year. Ballock will go down as a Creighton legend as he never missed a game in his career and started 97 of them over his last three seasons. The 6-5 senior averaged 9.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.5 three-pointers made in 33.5 minutes per game this year and will leave Omaha with 308 made threes, good for third all-time in school history. Ballocks' departure confirms the Blue Jays will have an entirely new starting lineup next season after Damien Jefferson, Denzel Mahoney and Marcus Zegarowski also all declared for the draft while Christian Bishop left via the transfer portal.
