After five seasons of organized ball in France, plus one on Serbia, Mokoka joined the Bulls for the 2019-20 season. The Parisian rookie played 11 games for Chicago and 31 game in the G League with the Windy City Bulls. Mokoka's made his NBA debut on Dec. 28 against the Hawks. He saw three minutes of run and grabbed two rebounds. Over his 11 NBA games for the Bulls, Mokoka averaged 2.9 points, 0.9 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.4 steals over 10.2 minutes per contest. He shot 42.9 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from behind the arc. On Feb. 6, the 21-year-old rookie scored a career-high 15 points from 6-of-6 shooting, with three three-pointers, in five minutes of run during a loss to the Pelicans. In the G League with Windy City, the 6-foot-5 wing averaged 10.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.3 steals across 32.2 minutes per game. He shot 37.1 percent from the field and 32.7 percent from three, draining 1.8 three-pointers per contest. On Mar. 8 with Windy City, Mokoka flirted with a triple-double during a win at Maine. Versus the Red Claws, he posted 27 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, five three-pointers and one steal during his best G League game of the season.
