Suns Topple Host Jazz
The Phoenix Suns defeated the host Utah Jazz, 131-111, at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Monday evening.

The Suns got out to a good start on the road with an early 16-11 lead, but the Jazz rallied back to take a 35-27 lead after one quarter. They stayed on top for most of the second quarter, but the Suns kept fighting and tied the game at 62, by halftime. The Suns took over the momentum in the second half, as they outscored the Jazz by 11 points in the quarter, to take double-digit lead into the final frame. The Suns pushed their lead to 15, early in the fourth and pushed it as high as 24 points, before settling on the 20-point road win.

Devin Booker led the Suns with 24 points, 10 assists and four rebounds, in 34 minutes. Ricky Rubio added 22 points, 11 assists, seven steals and six rebounds, while Kelly Oubre Jr. tallied 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal. The Suns shot 56 percent from the field, including 12-of-20 from long range.

Meanwhile, Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 38 points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal, in 35 minutes. Bojan Bogdanovic added 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Jordan Clarkson added 14 points, off the bench. The Jazz shot 47 percent from the field, including 10-of-26 from long range.

The Jazz (36-21) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Celtics on Wednesday. The Suns (24-34) host the Clippers on Wednesday.
