Kings Host Slipping Celtics
The Boston Celtics play host to the Sacramento Kings at TD Garden on Monday evening.

This marks the third game of a four-game road trip for the Kings, where they have gone 1-1, so far. The Kings are 3-5 on the road this season. Buddy Hield leads the Kings in scoring, with an average of 19.1 points per game, while shooting 41.6 percent from the field. Barnes is averaging 15.3 points per game, while Holmes is averaging 11.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. The Kings are averaging 105.5 points per game, which is fourth fewest in the league, and they allow an average of 109.2 points against.

Meanwhile, the Celtics (11-4) are in the midst of their worst stretch of the season so far, having lost three of their last four games. This marks their first game back home after a four-game road trip. The Celtics remain undefeated at home with a 5-0 record. The Celtics are averaging 8.8 steals per game, which is fifth most in the league. They are also limiting themselves to an average of 12.1 turnovers per game, which is the fewest in the league. Kemba Walker (neck), the Celtics' leading scorer, is doubtful for action on Monday. Jayson Tatum averages 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game, while Jaylen Brown is averaging 18.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Gordon Hayward (hand) remains sidelined.
