It's been six days since baseball was last played in Taiwan, thanks to a seemingly endless stream of rainouts. The Brothers will stick with Huang En-Sih as their projected starter for the third straight scheduled game in a row, while the Guardians will change things up, going away from Friday's expected starter Henry Sosa in favor of Mike Loree. A collarbone injury delayed Loree's season debut until last week, but he looked no worse for wear, allowing just two runs over seven innings. He's been one of the best pitchers in the league over his eight-year CPBL career, posting a 3.19 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. Huang, a 24-year-old righty, is nine years Loree's junior. He posted a poor 7.47 ERA in 14 starts and three relief appearances as a rookie last year, but his 4.50 ERA through four starts this season is quite respectable given the league's offensive explosion.

His injury may have been a minor worry prior to his first outing this season, but he showed himself to be healthy, so he should be treated as one of the league's top arms going forward.
Kao Kuo-Lin, Guardians: Kao remains one of the best captain choices in the Guardians' lineup. After spending several seasons as a part-time player, he's broken out in 2020, hitting .352 with five homers and 17 RBI in his first 20 games.
Lin Yi-Chuan, Guardians: Lin makes a solid case as a captain option himself. He's tied for the team lead with six homers and has driven in 20 runs in 21 games.
Chang Chih-Hao, Brothers: If you're expecting a Brothers win in this one despite Loree pitching for the Guardians, Chang may be the best captain choice. He's homered six times and while driving in 25 runs in 25 games this season.
