ANALYSIS
Dixon's second consecutive four-goal performance led the Power to a hard-fought win that gives them good odds to remain in the top four as the season nears its conclusion. Though his possession numbers don't make for the most valuable target, Dixon's recent scoring prowess shows it can be worth making room for him in the lineup.

ANALYSIS
Dixon didn't put up big numbers in Thursday night's loss to Melbourne, but nevertheless proved instrumental, finishing one of only three Port Adelaide players having registered a hitout versus the Demons and tied with Mitch Georgiades as his team's leader in majors. The 30 year-old has now registered multiple goals in each of his last six showings and with a combined 32 for the year, finds himself in a four-way tie for eighth-most in the AFL through Round 17. The Power forward also currently ranks second in the league for total contested marks (42).

Dixon acquired 14 disposals, four goals, four tackles, four hitouts, a pair of marks and behinds each and a single goal assist Saturday as Port Adelaide downed Hawthorn 87-53 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Dixon matched a season-high as the match leader in majors on Saturday, and, in doing so, improved to 19th in the AFL for goals per game (2). The 30 year-old forward has yet to top the century mark for fantasy points this year, but heads into a Round 17 match up with Melbourne having nevertheless produced at least 80 in each of Port Adelaide's last five outings.

ANALYSIS
Dixon was the focal point of the attack throughout the match so it took some time before he had enough space to make his mark. Once that happened, it became difficult to control Dixon, and it helps when he makes one-handed marks deep inside the 50. He's scored eight majors over his past three Rounds and is in fine form heading into the last match before the finals.

ANALYSIS
Dixon was back to his best as the Power regained top spot on the AFL ladder with a reasonably comfortable victory. It was Dixon's best game in over a month and was certainly a pleasure to see for all Power fans. He has been arguably the most dominant forward in the competition this season and has his team primed for a run at the premiership.
